AUDIT – Obstacle Commitment and Proofing Workshop with Moe Strenfel

$35.00

Sound has become increasingly important for agility training as often time we cannot be there to help physically show the dog where to go next.

Want to have a dog that will take a piece of agility equipment and not falter, argue or flat-out refuse? Does your dog understand that sound is important and opens the door to reinforcement if they accurately do the cued behavior?

Would you like to have all that PLUS be able to move away quickly in the opposite direction quickly?

Then this workshop is for you! Using jumps and tunnels, we will apply the science of dog training to provide clarity and confidence to your dog so they will commit to an obstacle on a verbal alone.

Part two consists of proofing those new skills so that you can leave earlier in the new direction (motion proofing).

This class will meet from 10am-3 pm with a break for lunch at noon.

Moe Strenfel has been teaching agility for 20+ years. She loves science based, positive dog training and loves spending time helping other people discover how rewarding training their WHOLE dog can be. Her passion is for the sport of agility and she has dedicated many hours to the study of agility and improving her own dog training knowledge and ability.

Moe has put the highest AKC and USDAA titles on five different breeds: Boxer, Border Collie, Mini Aussie, Whippet and currently, BorderPaps. She has competed for many years at nationals in USDAA, AKC and UKI. She was a member of the gold medal winning WAO Team USA that competed in Belgium in May 2012.
