Obstacle Independence

$55.00

Obstacle Independence is one of the most important and most difficult skills to teach your dog. The earlier you start this training the better the dog will understand their job.

What is Obstacle Independence? It is your dog’s ability to perform the equipment even if you are not standing right next to them. This training begins on the tunnels and jumps and progresses on to the contacts and the weave poles.

In this 75 minute class you will begin to develop obstacle independence on tunnels and jumps. Through the use of short drills and step by step instructions, you will teach your dog to send to the tunnel, jump a jump while you run the other way and take the obstacle in front of them even when you are peeling away.
