Continuing Scent Work

$98.00

The sport of Scent Work truly highlights the joy dogs find in using their noses. It transforms their natural sniffing behavior into a structured and enjoyable activity, making it a rewarding game for them.

In this 3-week class we will continue to expose our dogs to different search locations and types. We will continue to offer Container and Interior searches and add Exterior and Buried searching to our training.

About Megan:

Megan Hundley’s dogs have earned the highest scentwork titles in AKC, including Master Odor Elite, Master HD Elite, and Detective. Since 2007, she has shared her home with some Great Danes and two Golden Retrievers. She got into showing seriously when she got her first Golden, “Beckett,” in 2012. A student of human behavior, Megan discovered that dog behavior was somewhat similar and that she really enjoyed training dogs. Introduced to AKC dog shows around 2010, she fell in love with the elegance of the multi-titled team and has played in rally, obedience, agility, tracking, scentwork, and hunt tests. Her dogs have earned entry-level titles in hunting and prefix titles in rally, obedience, and tracking.

Though she has enjoyed playing all these games with her dogs, Megan’s true passion lies in tracking and scentwork/nosework. She teaches these disciplines in Middle Tennessee.
